A. De Mori was founded by Antonio De Mori in 1902 to market products and equipments designed for dairy industry.
Over the years the Company, however, broadened its areas of interest into diversified fields.
It was in 1946 that it became an Exclusive Distributor of Radiometer Copenhagen, which, at that time, manufactured primarily pHmeters and electronic equipment.
Co-operation therefore started, which has led to the formation of a dedicated working line in the framework of our Group, which was then consolidated into A. De Mori Strumenti S.p.A.
In the development of this company a breakthrough came from a special clinical application of pH measurements, which was performed by Radiometer in the fifties to determine blood acid-base status according to the Astrup method.
This gave rise to the forerunners of a wide range of electromedical devices, which made Radiometer an unchallenged world leader in this specific field and introduced A. De Mori Strumenti into the clinical hospital market.
At present, A. De Mori Group, a family business now in its fourth generation, also includes the following concerns:
distributes equipments for industry, research and hospital market (i.e., pHmeters, titrators, conductimeters, thermostats, incubators, freezers, climate rooms, lyophilizers, etc.);
is active especially in the Transfusion Medicine sector (i.e., blood collection bags, blood group systems, antisera, etc.);
supplies a wide range of fluid handling pumps and equipments to chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry.
It is the latest buyout of A.De Mori group, a young company with a very interesting project in urine analysis and drug of abuse tests.
